The Verellen Sullivan chairs and Thibaut sofas are a star of the show in crisp white linen in this modern coastal lakehouse in Omaha, Nebraska designed by Amethyst Home. Clean, crisp white linen upholstery is one of our favorite palettes for lake views. This living space started as most homes do with furniture collected over the years in need of a thoughtful refresh!

With older kids in the home, this client was ready for light and bright furniture. We love how the new pieces brighten up the room making it feel airy and light. (And don't worry -- all the pieces are fabric protected!)

Verellen excelled with the custom order Thibaut sofas in the precise white upholstery needs of the client. The black cabinets bring a modern look to this beach house and interesting contrast.

One challenge which was a priority was the sides of the fireplace. We wanted a built-in solution without the basic builder look. My client fell in love with these beautiful, textured cabinets that ended up being a close fit and gave dimension to the feature wall. The new cabinet proportions elongated the fireplace wall and made it feel grander.

The precious black Dovetail cabinets, creamy white pampas grass in recycled glass vases, and white hand-glazed ceramic Tory lamps from Arteriors give the living room a warm and beachy vibe. The black Lancaster side table is big enough for a deep 40" Verellen Thibaut sofa and works beautifully with this contemporary Moroccan rug, and rustic oversized coffee table. The side table generously holds the palm leaf baskets and coffee table book-sized Angels in our Midst, by Anne Neilson.

Not wanting to outdo the picture frame TV -- the feathery, light pampas grass in recycled glass vessels keep the sides of the fireplace feeling natural and beachy. We paired hand-glazed Tory lamps in an almost oyster color with a stamped texture for extra ambiance.

The front view of the Verellen Sullivan Chairs is so inviting to sit all day and enjoy time with family and friends. The rustic coffee table pairs beautifully with this living space that gives you an unobstructed view of the kitchen with the Hinkley Bar Stools and the Lyle rug by Loloi.

Attracted to the precise, structured lines of Verellen furniture -- we started with the sofas. The Thibaut frame is one of the most comfortable sofas I have ever experienced -- it's juicy seat cushion is spring down (miniature springs wrapped in down feathers!). Elegant and effortless at the same time -- we kept it simple in gorgeous white linen with natural imperfections. Pinched seams on the arms and accent pillows give it that extra dose of sophistication that is hard to find in most custom upholstery lines.

The accent chairs are a modern marvel -- with three legs in black Ash Wood in creamy, unique textile -- the seat depth & recline is ideal for watching a mounted television. This chair silhouette is exclusive to the Belgian-inspired Verellen collection. So dreamy and not something you see every day!

While our natural inclination in a beach house was to select a blueish/grey striped rug...we found this one-of-a-kind contemporary hand-woven wool rug with knotted striped. We love how it softened the black and white furnishings with natural oatmeal fibers.
