As soon as we drove up to this secluded, beautiful modern farmhouse — we knew we were in for a treat!  Joelle Elaine Design specializes in new construction design in the Des Moines & Ames, Iowa metro.   

This client ordered a custom Cisco Brothers Sectional in a beautiful linen. Knowing she has pets and children, we wanted to make sure she had an option that was durable and easy to clean. We paired her sectional with one of our favorite rugs - the Kai Rug which gives off a vintage feel but is new. We professionally photographed this project two years later and were stunned at how "brand new" the Kai still looked. 

We added the Emmett Sling Chair for additional seating -- we love the tobacco colored leather. This chair is just like one of our Cisco favorites, the Brando Leather Chair, it's almost like sitting in a baseball glove! 

We were so happy with how perfectly this bench fit in this art nook. It adds a little color without demanding attention. 

A one-of-a-kind wool rug, our signature move for high-traffic areas. We love the Athens Vintage Rug for how long and thin it is -- it's hard to come by rugs that are this thin! Perfect for smaller hallways in older homes and kitchen runners! We wanted to test this runner for the photoshoot but this gem is actually still available!

We are obsessed with this basement space that Joelle designed. We knew we needed a big comfy sectional with room for everyone. This is truly the fun area of the house complete with a projector, pool table and golf simulator! We added a couple side tables and the Darrow Ottoman to complete this room. 

This client's eye for design made this a fun partnership — we are still so excited about this one, even two years later!
