Our Friends at Black Birch Homes

This year we were so blessed to connect with so many creatives in the Midwest area. Jill and Brooks Rolling are the owners and husband & wife duo behind all the magic of Black Birch Homes who place an emphasis on quality, reliability, and putting their clients first. We were so excited when they asked us to help with their furnishings, and we dove right in.

The dream behind furnishing this space was to have it be a weekend hangout spot. Jill wanted something classic, casual, and timeless for their sofa so we had to go with the a two arm L shaped Radley sectional by Cisco. We paired the sectional with a stunning one of a kind rug and the Sinclair ottoman. Every gathering space needs a comfortable reading area so we nestled the Brando chair by Cisco in the corner - we love this chair and it's comparable to sitting in an American baseball glove. We finished off the space with a tree and three handmade, raw edge prints made with Nepalese paper.

For the dining area, we love to use wipe-able options for families with kids and pets so we opted for these gorgeous leather Wharton Dining Chairs.

The entryway we wanted a console that was thin and simple, we opted for the Harlow Console with calming art above. The entryway needed a durable, wool rug to hold up against traffic and all seasons - a vintage rug fit perfectly and provides much a nice contrast to the iron console and black door.

In the more formal sitting room, we paired all the clean straight lines with a classic rug choice of ours - the Giana. The grid pattern is the perfect mix of modern while staying true to new traditional roots.
