European Chic // A Midwest Chateau

European Chic // A Midwest Chateau

European Chic // A Collaboration

Once we saw the bones of this custom build we came up with dreamy mood board that included one of our favorite Cisco Brother’s pieces, the Donato. It’s slipcovered in an airy white linen that’s machine washable — forever making white achievable for busy families.

We paired the Donato with a rug from a new collection — the Helena, in Silver/Ivory. It pairs beautifully with the rich yet calm tones in the floors. It has a subtle sage undertone that gives so much dimension. We added our solid oak Nathan Coffee Table for a nice contrast against all the neutrals.

A dining area in front of a grand window with a view of mature trees is all we need. We curated each piece for this space with an essence of nature in mind. Our Malibu Dining Table in white oak and the Primm dining chairs are the perfect anchor for the Hadley, that’s 100% undyed wool. The Hadley always one of our go-to’s for under dining tables because of how easy to clean and durable it is.

Of course, we HAD to add a touch of Verellen. The Sullivan chairs were a no brainer for this project due to the unique and effortlessly cool back.

When we saw this shot of the kitchen, our European countryside dreams came true. We love all the warm neutrals in this space. We paired the grand island with the Equestrian stools to incorporate a leather moment. Our vision for rugs for this area of the home was French eclectic, so each spot sort of has it’s own personality. We used the Helena Sage/Sunset for the breezeway pantry and the London, one of our favorite vintage runners between the range and the island.

We had so much fun furnishing this gorgeous custom home built by Caliber Homes and designed by Joelle Elaine Designs — and we felt that our curated vision for the furnishings blended perfectly alongside the styling and accessories by Ann Marie + CO.
