This new flat weave reinvents vintage Scandinavian Kilim in ways that both honor the Swedish minimalist aesthetic and modernize its construction. The use of undyed natural yarns, for example, lends a subtle striae with more of a sense of movement and depth—a subtle nod to Rollakan techniques in a modern fashion. The choice of colors, too, explores their retro feel in a more refreshing quality. This particular Kilim enjoys taupe, beige-brown and gray in its cozy repetition and neutral concept. It’s a thoughtful balance of new and chic that brings mid-century geometric patterns a fabulous new look and feel.

Blot stains immediately and clean with mild soap mixed with equal parts white vinegar and water. Shedding is normal: vacuum regularly with beater bar off, and shedding will reduce over time.
